NBA Playoffs - Dallas Mavericks believe in miracles against Warriors: Pressure lies with you
The Dallas Mavericks got the first victory in the series with the Golden State Warriors in game 4 and therefore travel to San Francisco again. With the Mavericks, one believes in a miracle, even if the story speaks against it.
"You now have more pressure to win games," said Maxi Kleber about the Warriors after the Mavericks 119:10 Series in game 4, which at least extended the series by a game. "We are at a point where we have nothing to lose." Dallas played furious first 36 minutes, led with 29 points and only had to tremble a little again at the end when the dubs with the reservists put a run.
This also annoyed Kleber, who said that the team had to deal with tours better. Already in game 2, the MAVs played a 19-point lead, this time the cushion was big enough to save the lead over time. The Texans still had difficulty with the warriors' zone defense, but coach Jason Kidd also saw something good.
"It is the biggest compliment that we could get. They had to play the zone because they couldn't stop us in one-on-one," said Kidd. "These young men in our cabin really believe that we can still win." So far, however, three teams have only managed to force a seventh game at all when they were 0-3 behind, the last time the Portland Trail Blazers managed to do this in 2003 against Dallas. The complete comeback did not yet make a team.
The Mavs don't want to think that far anyway. "We are starting the game for game," said Luka Doncic, who was again unstoppable with 30 points, 14 rebounds and 9 assists, but felt pain on the hip in the final phase. In the PK, however, the Slovenian did not comment on whether this would further affect him.
However, the 23-year-old will probably be in action again on Friday (3 a.m., live on dazn ). Then the MAVs have another chance to extend their season.
