LOL: Community transforms jungle mascots into Bulbasaur, Charmander and Squirtle, from Pokémon
With the arrival of the new Mascots of League of Legends, Mob the Riot Games, comparisons inevitable with Pokémon creatures began to emerge.
Having a small creature as a companion we have to feed and take care of while helping us perform our tasks in the game gave rise to obvious parallels.
And the community was not long before it gets hands dirty and creating personalized skins for the jungle monsters, with which they become the most mythical creatures of the Pokémon franchise.
The Pokémon invasion of Summoner's Rift
The cosmetics in question were created by a player who, for fun, created personalized sound effects for different champions for some time.
A task that, on this occasion, was combined with the introduction of the initial Pokémon 3D models of the first generation. Bulbasaur, Character and Squirrel were chosen.
Of course, each one replaces the pet with the color that represents its elemental type. Thus, for example, the initial plant type assumes the role of the green companion of the jungle.
In the video, we can see how this integration is also very well d1. Although it is true that League of Legends's artistic style and Pokémon's generate some dissonance, the effort to add something that is really worth it is evident.
Proof of this is the evolutions, which happen every time we reach 20 and 40 stacks in the item. In these ands, we managed to evolve the initials in the different members of the evolutionary chain of these species. The problem with this change is that we would end up playing only with our favorite evolution.
Although Riot Games reserves the right to prevent the functioning of personalized skin programs, the truth is that they do not usually ban players who use personalized-desert cosmetics other than copies of their skins. This case, however, could be different.
Nintendo has gained the reputation of dismantling, defending its intellectual property beyond which it seems reasonable and, as respectful as work, they do not seem to open any exception.
